PCB, also known as printed circuit board, is an important electronic component, a support for electronic components, and a carrier for electrical connection of electronic components. The electronic components and pin pins of traditional PCB boards are all connected by welding. With the continuous development of the technology, the connection between the pin needle and the PCB board is now in the form of crimping.
Process requirements for pin crimping:
1. The press-fitting force cannot be too small, otherwise the pin pin and the PCB board may be badly connected.
2. The press-fitting force cannot be too large, otherwise the pin needle may be press-fitted and deformed, and miss the position of the maximum friction force of the fisheye, which will also cause virtual connection.
3. After the pin is pressed in, the height of the protrusion on the other end of the PCB must be within the range of process requirements.
